I forget, it has nothing to do with lewis carroll

This is the dream I had when I was taking a nap in my new room on the ancient hard-as-rock cot. Early I had been to the Chop Suey bookstore and seen a book of Lewis Carroll's photography. This got me thinking about Alice in Wonderland I guess.

So, the part I'm remembering took place in a giant bookstore, and was connected to an orphanage. The orphans weren't allowed in the bookstore but his one little girl would constantly go in anyway, and the store always had to call the cops to get her out. One day when she was in the bookstore, some shady looking woman who was running from somebody crashed into her and dropped a book, and sped off without a word. As the little girl was looking into the book, a fat wad of cash fell out, and she realized the book was a photo album of millions of other orphans. These kids had all dissappeared mysteriously and were believed to be trapped in some magic world than only existed in a certain part of the human brain.

As the little girl looked through the book, she recognized one of the pictures. It was her long-lost elder brother, and she resolved then and there that she had to go find him. So then she got chased out of the bookstore again, only it wasn't the cops this time, it was the same people that were after the first lady, and they had dogs. She discovered there was this big conspiracy around the book she now had in her possession, and of course they were after the fat wad of cash as well. Then the little girl decided that the only way she could find her brother and bring him back from that magic world was to get adopted, so she set out on her search for some parents.

So some stuff happened on her quest, don't remember it, so of course it was really awesome. Then she found some foster parents, and they were apparently kind of eccentric rich hippie-types. The mother was very sick, and couldn't have children of her own, so she kept adopting. One of the other children she was fostering dissappeared, so she had become obsessed with finding that magic world, and her husband assisted her.

So some more weird stuff...The little girl found a spot in her garden which accessed some forbidden zone in an alternate plane of reality, where secret thoughts and ideas are stored away until they are needed. When she entered that zone, there was an explosion of noise, and the garden turned into a drive-in theater, where the screen showed scenes of her life, and of her real parents. Then she asked it to show her the location of her brother, and a cartoon cat jumped out of the screen and started attacking her head.

The cat then led her around to various parts of the forbidden zone, but of course I can't remember the REALLY AWESOME stuff that happened in it. The cat imitated a circus clown and was showing off its unicycle skills, and the girl became friends with a gorgeous porn star who turned out to be the child the foster mother had lost.

The dream ended by the time the cartoon cat was placing needles in and between the little girls legs, just to be obnoxious. She never found that older brother, or discovered anything more about the conspiracy that was chasing her throughtout the whole dream.

And I woke up with a really really sore back.
